The affiliates are companies that have registered with us, with the purpose of bringing calls traffic. These partners are being given a unique toll-free number, that they use into their marketing campaigns, to bring these calls so we can generate more sales and more revenue!
Something extremely important to keep in mind during these calls, is not all the caller phone numbers that you will see in the Vonage contact pad, will be the actual customer’s phone number.
The reason for this, is because the affiliate often uses its own phone number to call the customers in order to complete a warm transfer to us, therefore, that’s the number that you might see in your contact pad.
Because of the nature of these calls, is a MUST to confirm the customer’s information on the phone, such as Phone number, email and address. Once this information is captured, make sure is accurately placed in the bundle portal to ensure your client will be able to receive the paid services. When the wrong information is placed, we will create dissatisfaction with the caller as they will not get the information of the order, and most likely, this will be cancelled, but also, we are causing an inconvenience to our business partners who are bringing more sales opportunities for you!On some calls, our customers don’t get decided for the service, and they request to be called back. When you do this and you close the deal successfully, you have to make sure that you are selecting the right affiliate campaign where the call came through originally. If you don’t know the campaign, ask any of the supervisors for support. This way we can all ensure each order goes through with the right information and we can continue to grow having happy affiliates.
